We love our patio for its size and the lovely potted flowers, but it lacked a focal point especially against the house wall. It was boring.
Our patio |
I often imagined myself spending summer mornings under the rising sun with coffee enjoying the gentle ripple of flowing water.
Few years ago, I decided to place a concrete fountain against the house wall. I choose an old-world style fountain making the structure blend effortlessly with the rest of the patio.
A fountain surrounded with flowers and foliage completes the setting. Every year, I plant different flowers in the concrete pots. Especially love Coleus for its stunning leaves and non-stop vibrant hues all season long.
Not only did the garden water fountain add an alluring focal point to the boring wall, but its gurgle definitely added atmosphere and a sense of calm to our patio.
