  2. WOW WOW WOW!!! Now THAT's a vegetable garden! How many tomato plants do you have?? I'm ashamed, with three and a half acres of land, we only have 10 tomato plants. You're inspiring me like crazy here for next year!

  3. I believe we have 100 tomato plants. We do a lot of canning - 200 jars last year.

  5. Chris2267 - Adding Miracle Grow soil to regular soil will help the plants. Whether you pick the basil or not, it should be clipped at the top to invegorate growth and avoid flowering. If it flowers, it becomes tall and tough.
